A 23-year-old man lost his life after partying too hard at a Ballico bachelor party.

According to the Merced County Sheriff’s Department, the man, whose name has not been released, was found unresponsive and not breathing Saturday morning after a night of drinking beer and tequila with friends.

“After passing out, his friends woke up around 7 a.m. and found him with vomit around his mouth,” said sheriff spokesman Deputy Tom MacKenzie. “After rolling him over and seeing blood come out, they dialed 911.”

 Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and took over doing CPR from the victim’s friends. The victim was transported to Emanuel Medical in Turlock where he was pronounced dead.
