A Turlock Police officer was witness to a strange site Tuesday morning on Highway 99 — a teenager dancing on the roof of a car.
Officer James Brewer was returning from the Stanislaus County Jail shortly past midnight, when he saw the unusual site.
A car had stopped in the middle of southbound Highway 99 with all the doors open and a teenager dancing on the roof, said Turlock Police Lt. Ron Reid.
Brewer turned on his emergency lights and all the occupants, including the dancing teen, got back into the car and pulled over to the shoulder of the highway, Reid said.
The 17-year-old driver was cited and the car was towed.
