The Turlock teacher who is already facing multiple sexual assault charges was arrested for the third time on Thursday on additional allegations of child pornography.

Daniel James Baudino, 38, was initially arrested on Nov. 1, 2021 for nine felony sex crimes with a juvenile. The investigation following Baudino’s arrest saw two additional victims come forward. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail on five counts of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and four counts of oral copulation with a minor.

He was arrested again on Nov. 18, 2021 for 10 more felony sex crime charges — three counts of sexual penetration with force and seven counts of oral copulation using force.

At the time of the first alleged sexual assault, Baudino was the band teacher at Turlock High School. He was working as the band teacher at Turlock Junior High School and at Dennis Earl Elementary until his arrest on Nov. 1, 2021. As standard protocol, he was placed on paid administrative leave by Turlock Unified School District.

As Turlock Police Department Hi-Tech Detectives continued to process the vast amount of digital evidence that was located and seized during the initial arrest, they uncovered more evidence of additional crimes Baudino perpetrated, which included covertly recording sexual acts without the knowledge of the other party.

Baudino was arrested and booked at the Stanislaus County Jail for one count of possession of child pornography, four counts of contacting a minor for the purposes of sex, five counts of recording sexual activity without consent and eleven counts of using a minor to make child pornography.

On Thursday, Baudino agreed to come to the police department and turn himself in.

The sex crimes are believed to have occurred between 2015 to August 2019. Of the 40 charges Baudino was arrested for, 35 of them are felonies and five are misdemeanors.
