Knife-wielding suspects rob Turlock store

Two men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after robbing a Turlock store at knife point, the Turlock Police Department reported.

The robbery happened at 11:34 p.m. Sept. 21 at a convenience store in the 2400 block of W. Monte Vista Avenue. No injuries were reported.

The suspects demanded cash from the register and bottles of alcohol. The clerk complied and the two suspects fled the area.

Officers arrived at the store within two minutes of the call, but were unable to locate the suspects, said department spokesperson Deandra Wiley.

The involved two suspects were described as Hispanic male adults, one tall and one short.  

The first suspect was described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall approximately 120 pounds, wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, a grey bandana tied around the lower part of his face, jeans, and black and white shoes. The second suspect was described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall approximately 160 pounds, wearing a hoodie, a grey bandana tied around the lower part of his face, black pants, and white shoes.
