Two men ejected from a Turlock bar Saturday night were taken into custody by Turlock Police officers after fighting with the bar’s security guards and threatening to shoot them.

The police department received a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of S. Broadway around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Two men, later identified as Pedro Guerra, 30, and Oscar Madrigales, 28, had been escorted from the Red Brick Bar and Grill after they had been caught smoking marijuana in a bathroom, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

According to the police report, Guerra fought with the security guards, punching three of them before pepper spray was used on his face.

The fight stopped, but Madrigales threatened the security guards by telling them he was going to follow them home and shoot them after work, Lewis said.

Guerra was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery. Madrigales was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats.
