Man robbed on Lander Avenue
TPD

The Turlock Police Department had officers scouring Lander Avenue Tuesday afternoon for two suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint.

The robbery was reported about 15 minutes after it happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Lander Avenue.

The victim told officers he was walking northbound on Lander when a red pickup truck pulled in front of him and two men got out of it.

One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and then the two robbers took some of his personal property before getting back in the truck and leaving northbound on Lander Avenue, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Parmley.

The vehicle was described as a red pickup truck single cab Ram 1500, model year between 2002 to 2005. The suspects are described as two adult black males.

A search was conducted but the truck and the suspects were not located.
