Multiple law enforcement agencies have descended on Turlock for an officer involved shooting.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department said an officer had been shot in Turlock and they were searching for the suspect or suspects.

“We can confirm that an officer was shot in Turlock and it is our understanding that the officer is OK,” the sheriff’s department tweeted.

Anyone in the area of Spruce/Angelus/Orange/High Streets in Turlock, should lock their doors and report any suspicious activity.
