Police search for man attempting to steal cash from ATM

The Turlock Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of trying to break into multiple ATMs around town.

The suspect attempted to gain entry into four different ATMs on Sunday and Monday. According to the Turlock Police Department, he was unsuccessful in all of his efforts, though his image was captured by the ATM cameras.

The first attempt was at 5:31 a.m. Sunday at the Farmers and Merchants Bank at 2340 Geer Rd., and was followed with a second attempt at 5:44 a.m. Sunday at the Chase Bank at 2091 Geer Rd. He made two more attempts at breaking in to the cash in the ATM at the Farmers and Merchants Bank at 2:33 a.m. and 10:34 a.m. Monday.

The images from the ATM cameras have been shared on social media sites. Anyone with information about the suspect's identity and/or whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-602-7463 or text a tip to 274637 and include “TIP 704” in the message. Tips can also be submitted via website at  www.stancrimetips.org. All contact can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
