TPD

The Turlock Police Department arrested two men in response to a drive-by shooting outside a Turlock bar.

There were no injuries reported from the shooting.

The drive-by was reported at 1:02 a.m. Sunday outside a bar in the 100 block of S. First Street.

The suspects were seen driving away from the scene in a red Ford pickup truck. Turlock Police officers located the vehicle traveling south on S. Golden State Boulevard and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver would not yield and a pursuit was initiated.

The driver merged the Ford onto southbound Highway 99 and continued along at a high rate of speed until taking the Bradbury Road exit. At that point the driver decided to stop and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Parmley.

Saul Lara Carrillo, 24, of Delhi, and Eduardo Saucedo, 29, of Winton, were arrested.

Carrillo was charged with discharging a firearm in an inhabited dwelling and smuggling substances into a jail.

Saucedo was charged with discharging a firearm in an inhabited dwelling, flight from officers, and driving under the influence.
