A man out for a walk around Donnelly Park Friday night was cut with a knife when two men robbed him, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The robbery occurred shortly before 3 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of Pedras Road.

The victim told officers he was out walking when he was approached by two white males who asked him if he had any money and a cell phone. The victim asked them why they wanted to know and one of the men pulled out a knife and sliced the victim’s arm, said Turlock Police Sgt. Stephen Webb.

One of the men grabbed the man’s cell phone and then they both fled the area.

The victim’s injury was considered minor.
