Trespasser caught at water plant

A Turlock man spotted on city property after hours was arrested for trespassing.

The Turlock Police Department reported Jeremy Hathcoat, 37, was seen jumping the fence into the City of Turlock’s Regional Water Quality Control Facility at 901 S. Walnut Road around 10 p.m. Thursday night.

Officers made contact with Hathcoat and discovered he was wanted on an outstanding felony narcotics-related warrant. He remains in custody at the Stanislaus County Jail on a $100,500 bail.
