The Turlock Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a 52-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since Sunday.

John Nissan never showed up for work after Sunday and he has not been heard from either, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The sudden disappearance is unusual behavior for Nissan and as such has been deemed suspicious, Lewis said.

Nissan is 6 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 250 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved dress shirt of unknown color, a gray pullover dress sweatshirt, black dress pants, and white shoes.

Nissan’s vehicle, a gold 2007 Nissan Murano, with the California license plate of 5WZM792, is also missing.
