The Turlock Police Department is investigating a robbery in which the suspect pulled the trigger on his gun, but luckily for the victim no shot was fired.
The suspect from the March 11 robbery remains at large and the investigation is ongoing.
The robbery occurred shortly after 3 p.m. in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Fulkerth Road.
The male victim was approached by a Hispanic male adult who pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet. The victim refused to hand over his property and the suspect pulled the trigger on his gun, but nothing happened, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Neil Cervenka.
A witness saw the incident and called the police department.
No other similar incidents have been reported to the police department.
The suspect was described as being in his 20s and was wearing a black shirt, jeans and an aqua hat.
