Vandals wreck baseball field

Two Turlock men are facing vandalism charges after allegedly causing thousands of dollars in damage to the Turlock High School baseball field.

Paul Mendoza, 28, and Andrew Stalnaker, 25, were arrested around 11 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of E. Canal Drive after they spun out their vehicles in the high school baseball field, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The damage to the field was estimated by the police department at $3,000 to $4,000.
