Modesto Junior College will dedicate its two newest buildings – Glacier Hall and the Agriculture Center for Education – on Jan. 4.

Allied Health’s Glacier Hall, a building offering lecture rooms, skill labs, a computer-assisted instructional resource lab, and a human patient simulation lab, will be dedicated at 2 p.m. The building is expected to help train health care professionals for the community, ranging from nurses to medical assistants and respiratory therapists.

The Agriculture Center for Education, a multi-purpose indoor educational facility featuring laboratories, lecture rooms, a large arena, and an annex, will be dedicated at 3 p.m. The building will help MJC meet the region’s demand for agriculture professionals.

Both West Campus buildings, located at 2201 Blue Gum Ave., were funded through the Measure E facilities bond, approved in November 2004.
