A home already abandoned and damaged by fire was once again set ablaze, the Turlock Fire Department reported.
The fire happened Thursday morning at a vacant residence near the intersection of Geer Road and North Avenue. The home had already sustained damage from a previous fire.
Turlock firefighters used a large diameter hose line to attack the fire, which kept it from spreading to the main part of the house.
A search revealed the house was empty. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
