The fundraising campaign to help complete Phase II of the Turlock Gospel Mission’s year-round homeless shelter. Dilfer, who played in the NFL for 13 years, was in town to help the campaign and share his story of faith.
“I don’t think my life is spectacular or unique because it’s my life, but others do and I hope lessons can be learned from my mistakes and victories,” Dilfer said.
Dilfer is the second Fresno State and NFL quarterback to come to Turlock to support and help raise money for the Turlock Gospel Mission as Oakland Raiders quarterback Dererk Carr visited in April.
