The City of Turlock has a number of places where families can dive into wet summer fun with two aquatic playgrounds and three pools offering recreational swim hours throughout the week.

The Columbia Pool, located at 600 Columbia Street, opens Saturday for the season. Open swim is from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The pool is closed on Fridays.

The Pitman High and Turlock High pools will be open 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 12 through July 20 for recreational swim.

Pool fees are $2 for adults and $1 for youth. Children must be 8 years old to get in without an adult.

Located next to the Columbia Pool is the Columbia Water Spray Park. The city’s other spray park is located at Broadway park, 501 N. Broadway.

The spray parks are both open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Friday. From June 10 through Aug. 13, the spray parks will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday. From Aug. 14 to Sept. 4, the spray parks will be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
