The Stanislaus County Fair was also recognized as one of the “Top 100” Fairs in the nation by the International Association of Fairs and Expositions.

The Stanislaus County Fair has once again received awards of distinction from Western Fairs Association (WFA) and International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE).

Western Fairs Association, a non-profit trade association serving the fair industry throughout 14 Western United States and Canada, recognized the Stanislaus County Fair with four awards overall.  The Stanislaus County Fair was also recognized as one of the “Top 100” Fairs in the nation by IAFE.

“We are very proud of the programs we offer at our Fair,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Fair. “For them to be recognized, such as the free transit provided by the City of Turlock, is an honor and it is wonderful to show our community partners also be recognized.”

Alkhas also noted that the Fair continues to stand out as one of the best in the United States and Canada.

“We take immense pride in having a Fair that is not only community driven, but also produces outstanding entertainment,” said Alkhas.

The Fair was recently on the Disney + National Geographic channel featuring the Destruction Derby Motorhome event on the “The World According to Jeff Goldblum.”

The Fair picked up one first place awards, and three second place awards:

·         First Place in Radio Advertising — Fair Radio spots created by Gary Shriver from MIP Advertising.

·         Second Place in Give It Your Best Shot for Fair animal photos of the livestock area; New Sponsorship Program for the Yogurt Mill sponsoring the 2019 Kids Club program and providing free yogurt coupons for children 12 and under; and New Community Outreach for the Fair partnering with the City of Turlock transit center, who provided free shuttles to the Fair and free transit for all riders for the month of July.
