Jazz concert at Carnegie

The Carnegie Arts Center presents the next concert in its Jazz Music Series, an evening of music from Orquesta Dharma featuring Andy Nevla at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Stan State faculty member Jamie Dubberly returns to the Carnegie with his Latin jazz ensemble Orquesta Dharma infused with elements of jazz and New Orleans Brass Band traditions. The group will be joined by special guest pianist Andy Nevela, director of Jazz Studies at Jacksonville State (Alabama) and former Coordinator of Jazz at Stan State.

Tickets are $10 General Admission and $5 for Students and Carnegie Members. Tickets will be available at the door.

The concert will be at the Carnegie Arts Center at 250 N. Broadway.
