This week middle school students from across northern California participated in the 2009 Summer Music at Stanislaus summer camp. The program runs for two weeks and includes a junior and senior camp. Junior camp is for students grade 6-8, and senior camp is for high school students grade 9-12.
Young musicians get the chance to practice music with ensembles, bands and private lessons. They also attend classes on music history, ear training, and recording. Campers have the choice of staying in the CSU Stanislaus dorms or commuting to camp.
