The Turlock Concert Association is closing out their season with a performance by the Wind Soloists of New York.

The Wind Soloists of New York draws together an ensemble of world-class musicians to perform a repertoire of classical music. All the members of the ensemble have performed as soloists and in world-renowned orchestras such as the Boston Symphony and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

The musicians performing at Tuesday’s show are: Edward Burns on the bassoon; Pavel Vinnitsky on clarinet; Keith Bonner on flute; and Keve Wilson on the oboe.

The ensemble will be playing pieces from Handel’s “Water Music,” and Beethoven’s “Don Giovanni” and “La ci darem la Mano,” as well as selections by Haydn, Debussy, Bitsch and Francaix.

“They’re all excellent musicians,” said TCA Board member Dieter Renning. “Hopefully people enjoy it.”

The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Turlock Community Theatre at 1574 E. Canal Drive. Tickets will be available at the door for $25 for adults and $15 for students up through high school. For more information call 667-1936 or 634-1389.
