The comedy sketches and acrobatic stunts that were hallmarks of the Vaudeville shows of the past will once again take center stage with a return engagement of Kamikaze Fireflies at California State University, Stanislaus.

The duo of Rob Williams and Casey Martin that make up Kamikaze Fireflies will be performing Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 at the university’s Mainstage Theatre. Their act includes comedy, juggling, acrobatics and jaw-dropping stunts.

“We want audiences to gasp with excitement and laugh until they cry,” Williams said. “I don’t know too many shows that can offer that.”

Williams and Martin partnered up three years ago after performing solo acts and with other troupes.

“We both knew we each had a set of skills that if we melded together would make for a really unique show,” Williams said.

Kamikaze Fireflies has performed their daring feats around the worlds and have been delighting fans young and old alike.

“It’s a show that is friendly to all ages,” Williams said. “There is something in it to entertain all.”

The show is set for 8 p.m. Dec. 5 and 6. Tickets are $10 and $15 and can be purchased online at www.csustan.edu/soa or at the box office prior to the show.
