Former Turlock resident Alice Es-haq, 83, died Wednesday at Almaden Health and Rehabilitation in San Jose. She was born August 1927, in Iran, to the late Baba and Hili Yeganeh. She was a school teacher in Iran and migrated to Turlock with her husband Rev. Samuel Es-Haq in 1987. In 2003 they lived in San Jose until her passing. Alice was a woman of faith and trusted the Lord all through her life. She also had a love for people.
Alice is survived by her husband, Rev. Samuel Es-haq; children, Florence Es-haq Sarkis, Rev. Pastor Fereidoun Es-haq and Fred Es-haq; brother, Malkizedic Yeganeh, all of San Jose. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at the Assyrian Evangelical Church, 500 Monroe Ave., Turlock, with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
