Annie VonGunten, 80, of Delhi, died Nov. 20 at Emanuel Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 25 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 at Winton Cemetery District, 7651 Almond Ave., Winton. Burial will be at Winton Cemetery District.
Annie was born Sept. 17, 1929, in Robstown, Texas. She was a homemaker for 63 years and a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Hilmar.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Cole of Amarillo, Texas, Jack VonGunten of Corcoran, Fred VonGunten of Delhi and Kenny VonGunten of Delhi; daughters, Velva Matthews of Redding, Bernice VonGunten of Delhi, Helen Wathan of Powell, Texas and Doris Butcher of Delhi; brother, John Trout of Ripon; sisters, Maxine Clark of Citrus Heights and Ruth VonGunten of Sacramento; 40 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert VonGunten in 1976; son, Bobby VonGunten in 1992; daughters, Jean Ledford in 2006 and Ruby May VonGunten in 1957; two grandsons; and a granddaughter.
