Anthony “Tony” Chavez, 15 months, passed away at UCSF Children’s Hospital after a long battle with SCID, Severe Combined Immune Deficiency Disorder. Services were held on Tuesday.
Tony was a vivacious little boy, who had a flair for life, a love of music, and couldn’t have enough toys. He’d spent the last 8 months living with his great grandparents inside a hospital room at UCSF, yet his smile, and love for life never wavered.
Tony is survived by his parents, Erasmo Chavez and Cassaundra Doige of Manteca; grandparents, Tammara Gonzalez of Lancaster, Erasmo Chavez Sr. and Maria Chavez of Tracy; great grandparents, Janet and William T Clark Jr. of Modesto; great great grandparents, Barbara and Don Hastie of Modesto, Ann and William T. Clark, Sr. of Paradise; and a large extended family. Anthony’s family would like to express their gratitude to their extended family at UCSF Children’s Hospital.
Services are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Please share your memories at www.allenmortuary.com.
