Antonia Cockrum, 63, passed away at Doctors Medical Center. Antonia was born in Mexico to Secundino and Maria Cortez Martinez. She resided in Turlock and the Atwater area for the past 40 years. She shared her greatest joys with those dear to her heart; her family, apart from spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite past times included, gardening and caring for her pets. She was a devoted catholic, and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Antonia is survived by her husband, Robert Cockrum of Turlock; daughter, Martha Gutierrez of Turlock; siblings, Vicente Cortez, Miguel Cortez, Alfonso Cortez, Daniel Cortez, Rosa Cortez, Josefina Cortez, Trina Barlette and Carmen Mendoza; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Guadalupe Cortez.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25 at Allen Mortuary, with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. A mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
