A funeral service for Beatrice Samuel Joseph, 81, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4 at Allen Mortuary, with burial to follow.
Beatrice was born in Iraq to parents, Samuel and Judat Chalaby. She was an excellent seamstress and was known for her calm, quiet and honest personality.
She is survived by siblings, George Joseph of Modesto, Sarkis Chalaby of Massachusetts, Gladys Ewan, Agnes Simon and Edward Chalaby, of Australia; and several nieces and nephews.
