Betty F. Luckett Belcher Black, age 91, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point. She was born on December 26, 1926, in Emory, to George Washington and Mattie Florence Woodson Luckett. She was the youngest of 18 children. She attended Emory School. She was a member of Turlock Assembly of God Church in Turlock, California, for 50 years. Betty was a member of the Butchers Union and she was the the first female Federal Inspector in the United States.  She attended two conventions in Washington, D.C., for the promotion

of womens rights in the work place.

Her survivors include,  Daughter: Jean Belcher Donaldson Lynch (Glen) of Terrell; Grandsons: Kevin Donaldson (Becky) of Cleburn, and Tracy Donaldson (Jamie) of Poetry; Great-granddaughters:  De-Anna Michelle Donaldson, and twins Tucker Grace and Bela Cooper Donaldson; Sisters-in-law: Gert Luckett of Canton. and Polly Luckett of Dallas.

Numerous other loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by: Parents, Siblings, and Husbands;  1st husband,  Warren G. Belcher (father of Jean Belcher Lynch) and Richard Black.

Services were held July 15th.
