Mrs. Betty Louise Gay, 82, of Delhi, CA passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Turlock, California. Louise was born on Saturday, March 25, 1933 in Keota, OK to Jim and Higa Thomas. Her family meant a great deal to Louise and her best friends were her sisters. Louise loved camping and spending time with family. She was a homemaker who took care of her family to the best of her ability. She did run many different small businesses throughout the years because she loved the challenge of running a business. Louise was active in the Chamber of Commerce in Delhi and worked various functions and responsibilities throughout the community tirelessly. She was responsible for Western Day’s Parade and involved in the recreation department. She received many awards for her work for others from the Chamber of Commerce.  

She is survived by three daughters Beverly (Chic) Cardoza, Debra Majors and Barbara Elaine Emana. She had 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Allen Mortuary. A funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Allen Mortuary with a graveside committal to follow at 12:30 PM at Winton Cemetery.
