Dean West passed away at the age of 79.  The youngest of six children, Dean grew up to believe in hard work. He was a good provider and was a very charitable and humble man. He was always reaching into his pocket to help others.  In Dean’s younger years he was very passionate about horses and had a love for animals throughout his life.

Dean was a truck driver for approximately 59 years with many years in management with the trucking firm.  He also enjoyed building and racing cars and motorcycles.  He was musical with a gift for playing his guitar.

Dean is survived by his children Johanna West, John West and Lorraine Lee; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great-grandchild.  Dean is preceded in death by his wife Harriet “Lee” West and his two daughters Charlotte Boyd and Stacy Deen West.
