Eleanor Marie Stamper, 88, was born in Turlock, in the winter of 1929 to Frank and Ida Mendosa.  She married Emery Jones from Hilmar.  After Emery’s death in 1971 Eleanor married Arley Stamper in 1973.  Arley passed away in 2001.

Eleanor and Emery had 7 children, Loretta, Mike, Valerie, Herbert (now deceased), Debbie, Miriam and Dorothy; step-daughters Judy and Lynette; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Eleanor loved life and lived it fully with her children around her and she loved Jesus and watching old westerns. A Viewing will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm July 12, 2017 and the Funeral Service will be held at 10 am July 13, 2017 both at Allen Mortuary.  A Graveside service will follow immediately at Turlock Memorial Park.
