Elsie Copeland, 94 of Turlock passed away on January 6, 2016 at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 16, 1921 in Coweta, Oklahoma. Elsie was a homemaker and worked in the family chicken business most of her life. After leaving the family business she worked for Keller Industries for 25 years before retiring in 1997 and moving to Turlock. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Turlock. Her hobbies included crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and various types of hand work including quilting.

Elsie is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William Copeland and her daughter Treva Kelley. She is survived by her son, Roy Copeland of Delhi; daughters Judy Jones of Tulsa, OK; and Janet Blair of Turlock. Elsie has 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great- great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1pm - 5pm at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, 11am at Church of Christ, 801 N. Tully in Turlock.
