Eric Ramon Scott Gutierrez, 33, of Turlock, died May 12 in Merced.
A funeral service is scheduled for noon on Saturday, May 22 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service. Burial will be private.
Eric was born in Merced in 1976. He was a construction worker for five years.
He is survived by his parents, Ramon and Maria Elena Gutierrez of Delhi and Maria Inacio of Winton; daughter, Vanessa Gutierrez of Turlock; brothers, Michael Garcia of Delhi, Ericberto Gutierrez of Winton and Ernesto Gutierrez of Turlock; sisters, Delia Garcia of Hilmar and Erica Inacio of Turlock; and grandparent, Rita Nava of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilee de Herrera, in 1978.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
