Howard Keup, 77, of Turlock, was born in Nebraska to Louis and Lula Keup in 1932. He was raised in Nebraska and Wyoming. The family moved to Delhi before Howard started high school. He graduated from Livingston High School, and after graduation in November of 1953, he married Cleta Taylor.  Howard was an outdoors-man. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed animals. His family has many good memories of “Papa” with his chickens and also his jelly beans.
Howard is survived by his son, Ken (Joy) Keup of Turlock; daughter, Kathy (Roger) Moitoso of Hilmar; sister, Georgianna Hannah of Keyes; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family. Cleta preceded him in death in 2008 after 55 years of marriage.
