Jerry Richard Repke, 56, of Sonora entered eternal life on Friday at Sonora Regional Medical Center after battling a cancerous brain tumor. He was born in Superior, Wis. to Ronald and Norma Mae Repke. He moved to California in 1956 after the death of his father, Ronald Repke. Jerry loved the outdoors — camping, fishing, and gold panning. He especially liked sitting by the campfire.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Repke; brother, Ronald Repke Jr.; and sisters, Charlotte Woods and Linda Thoorsell. He is survived by his mother, Norma Klaschus; step-father, Irvin Klaschus; brothers, Daniel Repke and Irvin Klaschus Jr.; two aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
