Joan Margaret Miller, 76, of Turlock, California, passed away on 10 August 2023.

Joan was born on 24 March 1947 to Charles and June Read in Turlock, California. After Joan graduated from Turlock High School in 1965, Joan worked as a Dental Assistant for 25 years.

In 1998, Joan wed Ronald Miller in Rockville, Maryland and were happily married for 14 years until Ron’s passing in 2012.

Joan was a life-long active member of Saint Francis Episcopal Church and enjoyed spending time with her very close friends and her beloved Ragdoll cats, Andy, and Mary-Margaret.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Charles and June Read, her brother Wayne Reed and her husband, Ronald L. Miller. She is survived by her stepchildren Diane Miller, Paul and Laura Miller, and her step-grandchildren Presley Miller and Cassidy Miller

Services will be held at Saint Francis Episcopal Church location on 2 September 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) 800 Scenic Drive, Bldg F7, Modesto, CA 95350 and/or Saint Francis Episcopal Church 915 East Main Street, Turlock CA 95380 of which Joan was a devoted member throughout her life.
