Lura Ann Moitoso was born November 14th, 1952, to John and Evelyn Littler in Turlock California. She passed away peacefully surrounded by all of her loved ones the evening of June 24th 2025, at Cogir Senior Living of Turlock. Lura was a lifelong resident of Turlock, she attended Wakefield Elementary School, and Turlock High School, graduating in 1970. Lura worked at the Giant Orange and Val Chris where she met the love of her life Joe Moitoso. They married September 14th, 1974, and started their family with their two children Rocky and Dianna. Lura opened her daycare to be a stay at home mom, where her daycare operated for 40 years. She took care of 100s of children, more are like family now. She enjoyed yearly family hunting and camping trips, trips to the ocean, and occasional trips to the casinos. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, and parents John and Evelyn Littler, and her brother Ricky. Lura’s legacy has survived through her son Rocky and his wife Jennifer, her daughter Dianna and her fiancée Nicole, Lura’s three grandsons, Anthony, Aaron, and Andrew, her only granddaughter, Ali Rose, and her two great grandsons, Joseph, and Lucas. Services for Lura will be held privately.
