Marilyn Jean Stapp passed into the arms of her Savior and Lord at her home in Denair on March 7, 2011, after a 10-month battle with cancer.

Marilyn loved entertaining and was well known for delicious meals.  She was an avid reader, but also enjoyed sewing and quilting classes.  Outdoor activities were special to her and she spent many happy hours traveling and camping with family and friends.

Marilyn valued her walk with the Lord and was an active member of Monte Vista Chapel.  She thoroughly enjoyed her Sunday school class and attended numerous Bible studies.  She also belonged to professional organizations and the Red Hat Society.

Marilyn leaves behind her loving husband, Earl; children, Becky, Keith, Page and Lynee and her husband, Mario; grandchildren, Sonja, Kaleb, Ian, Trevor and Tristen; her brother, Morris and his wife, Claudia; plus numerous relatives and cherished friends.
