Our mother, Mary A. Teixeira, passed away on May 11 at Riverbank Nursing and Rehab Center in Riverbank. She was 84 years old. She was born in Newman and graduated from Orestimba High School. She lived in Modesto for many years before moving to Turlock.
She is survived by her two sons, Melvin Teixeira (Debbie) of Turlock and Mervin Teixeira (Rosalie) of Patterson; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Henry Rocha of Turlock; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 16 at Turlock Funeral Home.
Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 17 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar, followed by a funeral mass. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
