May Margaret Isaac
March 1923 — December 2009  
May Isaac was born to Paul and Marion Simon in New York City, NY and relocated to Turlock in 1937. She married Lincoln Isaac on Nov. 23, 1947, and moved to Modesto in 1959. May spent most of her life as a devoted wife and mother. She was an excellent cook, the light of the family, and also known as “Mom” to her children’s friends. She will be remembered for pouring her life into her husband and children.  
She is survived by her sons, Marshall and Douglas (Linda); sister, Katherine Milhollan (Gerald); brothers, Paul Simon (Nell) and John Simon (Carmen); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Marion Isaac Lowry (Chuck) who passed away in 2006.   
 
Lincoln Emil Isaac
March 1922 — December 2009
Lincoln Isaac was born to David and Sophia Isaac in Gary, Ind. and relocated to Turlock in 1946. Following WW II military service in the U.S. Air Corps, Lincoln obtained educational degrees from the University of California, Berkeley (BA) and University of the Pacific (MA), Stockton. A 35-year career with Modesto City Schools included teaching at Fairview and Mark Twain, then as principal of Tuolumne, Lincoln, Enslen, Roosevelt and Rose Avenue schools. He was a charter member of the Association of California School Administrators and served as president of Region VII. He also served as a committee member on the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and was a member of Phi Delta Kappa and president of the Beta Upsilon Field Chapter. He was a member of the Masons of California, member of Brick Masons and Plasterers International Union, and a charter member of the Assyrian-American Civic Club of Turlock.   
He was preceded in death by his wife, May; his daughter, Marion Isaac Lowry (Chuck); parents; brother, Marshall; and sister, Elizabeth Abraham.
He is survived by sons, Marshall and Douglas Isaac.  
Funeral services for Lincoln and May will be held at 11 a.m. on  Wednesday, Dec. 23 at St. John's Assyrian Presbyterian Church, 450 South Palm St. in Turlock. A luncheon will follow immediately in the church social hall. Burial will be private.  
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lincoln and May's memory to Casa De Modesto, 1745 Eldena Way, Modesto, CA  95350.
