Paul Henry Bracken, 96, of Turlock, passed away Saturday at Brandel Manor in Turlock. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Turlock. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
Mr. Bracken was a native of Stockton, Utah and a resident of Turlock for 30 years. He worked for Dompe Warehouse as a dry bean broker for 30 years. He was a World War II Air Force Veteran and a member of the Turlock Golf & Country Club, Crows Landing Lions Club and the Crows Landing Fire Department. He was past president of the California Dry Bean Advisory Board and National Dry Bean Counsel.
Mr. Bracken is survived by his son, Steven Bracken of Patterson; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Bracken.
