No memorial service is planned for Richard Hayes of Turlock. He entered into eternal rest at the age of 56.
He was a longtime employee of Bonander Truck, a lifetime member of the Turlock Rural Fire Department and a member of Turlock Lodge No. 395 F&AM, and a former officer of the Valley Tractor Pullers Association. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, amateur astronomer, avid fisherman and constant tinkerer.
Richard is remembered as a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather.
He is survived by sons, Michael Hayes of Denair, Matthew Hayes of Turlock, Joshua Hayes of Hilmar, and Jason Hayes of Sebastopol; two grandchildren; father, Clinton Hayes; stepmother, Mary Hayes of Turlock; and sister, Gayle Lindbeck of Denair.
He is preceded in death by brother, Dennis Hayes.
