Sidney Carl Brough, 66, of Turlock passed away Sunday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
Mr. Brough was a native of Tremonton, Utah and a resident of Turlock for 30 years. He was a mechanic for 20 years and a Vietnam veteran. He served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1980. He was a member of the Patterson Lions Club and a volunteer with the Patterson Fire Department.
Mr. Brough is survived by his son, Herman Elliott of Salida; daughters, Tracy Sweet of Ohio and Mary Ashlock of Turlock; brothers, Clyde Brough of Oregon and Marvin Brough of Utah; sisters, Persella Bondarte of Montana and Theola Mallett of Utah; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Brough.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Hillview Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
