Teddy McDiffett, 82, of Denair, CA passed away on January 31, 2021 at Emanuel Hospital. He was born and raised in Kansas and came to California 55 years ago. Ted worked for Turlock Irrigation District where he fulfilled a 30 year long career. He was a past member of Denair Lions Club, a Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed playing Golf, Softball, and Basketball. Ted was well known by all for his huge smile, friendly wave, and big bear hugs. He never met a stranger and would lend a hand to anyone in need, usually doing cement work, roofing or putting up fences. Ted will be missed by so many.

 Ted is survived by his wife of 61 years Edith McDiffett; four children, Chris (late wife Pam) McDifffett of Denair, Debbie (Rick) Nutcher of Denair, Brian McDiffett of Alta Vista, Kansas, and Vonda (Mario) Holguin of Turlock; six granddaughters; and eight great grandchildren with one on the way. Ted is preceded in death by his father Paul and mother Christina McDiffett, brothers Stan, Max, Kent and Keith McDiffett, and his sisters Marvene Carlton, Peggy Koepp and Verlene Buchman.

 A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 12 to 3 pm at Nutcher Farms located at 5213 W Grayson Rd, Modesto CA 95358
