Our beloved daughter and sister, Verona Ovrahim was taken from us on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Modesto, California. She was born in December 7, 1986 in Turlock, California where she lived her short life. She was part of first graduating class of 2005 in John H. Pitman High school. 

Verona is survived by her parents, Narmelin and Mansour Ovrahim, her sibling Oshanna, Sharona and Eilroma, her maternal grandmother, Flora Sarkhosh, five aunts, two uncles, numerous cousins and dear friends. 

Prayer service and funeral will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home Chapel located on 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380. Family’s celebration of Verona’s life will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Mar Addai Assyrian Church of the East located at 830 E. Canal Drive, Turlock, CA 95380.
