Editor,
Shame on those vandals who have been spray painting graffiti on our local roads in relation to the upcoming TID (Turlock Irrigation District) Board of Directors elections. I have so far seen two instances — multiple markings each — of the graffiti and think it's very sad that a political campaign would resort to such a low in order to try and win votes.
The graffiti I have seen seems to be directed against TID Board member Joe Alamo. I would hope his opponent would come out and publicly disassociate himself from the vandals and declare that actions such as these have no place in a campaign.
