Stanislaus golf ends fall season ranked No. 3

The Cal State Stanislaus men's golf team capped off a tremendous fall season and was recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America as they were ranked No. 3.
Cal State Stanislaus, which started at No. 17 at the beginning of the 2011 season, won three tournaments and finished third in the other during the fall portion of the season. The Warriors won at Bellingham, Wash. and Olympia, Wash. over the same weekend. They then finished third at Chico State's event in Corning before ending the year tied for first at the Otter Invitational in Seaside.
The Warriors are ranked third behind Lynn and Barry. They received two first place votes. Other CCAA teams ranked in the top 25 are Chico State at No. 5, Sonoma State tied for No. 11 and Cal State Monterey Bay is at No. 22.
