It was a tough Thursday for Pitman High’s girls soccer team. Just two days removed from a first round playoff win, the Pride fell flat against Enochs High, losing 3-0.
Enoch’s Mckenzie Moe was responsible for two of the Eagles’ goals as well as an assist on Kirsten Coleman’s goal. The Pride, who normally exhibits an explosive offense, struggled to find their rhythm early in the match and was taken advantage of by the MMC champions.
The loss eliminates Pitman from the SJS Division I Playoff tournament and ends a season in which the Pride came within a game of the claiming the CCC championship. Pitman will lose seven of its players to graduation by next season but will still have depth to pull from.
