Turlock High’s girls soccer team continued its streak of success against Merced High on Tuesday night. Under the lights in Joe Debely Stadium — and in the rain — the Bulldogs (6-0-1 CCC) beat the Bears (2-3-2 CCC) 3-1, remaining undefeated and in the number one spot in the Central California Conference.

Turlock’s combination of stout defense and aggressive offense came together in a dominant performance against Merced. Goal keeper Ashlen Kuntz recorded five saves for the Bulldogs as Aubrey Glidden, Maddy Bowen, and Lindsey Aldax provided Turlock’s goals. Aldax and Glidden also accompanied Morgan DeLay and Cayla Donahue with key assists.

Turlock will face Golden Valley High on Thursday as it continues its campaign for a CCC title.
